Legendary designer Stephen Burrows presented his Spring/Summer 2013 Collection at The Out NYC today. This was a special event as Pazette Barbie, designed by Burrows, was debuted today on the Great Lawn.
Today’s presentation was more of a party with models on small wooden platforms donning the colorful designs of Burrows. The collection included sexy cut outs, color blocking, and bias cut dresses that draped the body so nicely, it was perfect for almost any body shape. I always love his retro style because it doesn’t seem dated in a ‘I got that at the Salvation Army’ way. (That’s actually what I do). But Burrows’s collection is current yet reminiscent.
