I was practicing drawing a pair of lips from a low angle and could not get it. After two versions, I threw them out and worked on a simple front view. It needed something more and I have been wanting to overlay images, so I decided this was the perfect practice piece.
The eye is shot at an angle, so the shape looks different, but I didn’t like the way the eyelashes looked at that angle, so I made them at frontview. Eyes – sideview. Lashes – frontview. I hope to do more of these.
