Ellie Goulding Inverted Experiment

This was a fun project for me.  I took a photograph of Ellie Goulding I photographed in 2011 at Saks Fifth Avenue and inverted it into a negative image.

Then I drew the image as inverted.  All the darks became light, and the lights became dark.  White eyeleashes!

After the drawing was completed, I took a photo of it then went into Photoshop and inverted it again to see if it would turn into a positive image.

Here’s the result:

I think if the background wasn’t black the image would pop out more, but this was a really fun project.  I’d love to do more of these.
