May Ray ‘Glass Tears’ Project

So my studies on one of my favorite artists continues.

One of my favorite Man Ray photographs is this 1932 ‘Larmes’ (Glass Tears).

So I decided to draw this and do a painted version of Larmes. Here are my pieces below:

Acrylic on 9×12 Canvas Paper.

The hardest part was the eyelashes.  I dreaded doing the eyelashes on the painted version for a about a week.  But I loved doing the water droplets.  That just may be my next project, water drops, or one giant drop.
