Amazing Baby at the Annex
Remember that 80’s song...I’ve gotta feelin’ Obama’s watchin’ me.
What? That’s not how the song goes???
Violens at The Annex
I can NOT wait for the full length album. If it’s already out, please let me know. Or I will get violens with you. Haha! I am LAME! (Laughing At Me)
Cut Off Your Hands at The Delancey
I have a huge bruise on my foot because of this guy!
“Oh girl…”

BOWERY BALLROOM
Nickel Eye (featuring Nikolai Fraiture of The Strokes)
Dude has not aged in over 7 years. Dude does NOT have any wrinkles…WTF?!!!
Assisted on bass by Joel Cadbury of South

The Whip
And yes…the crowd started to dance…finally!
Thinking of a tasteless Manchester joke my friend made, but will NOT repeat it.
Late of the Pier
BOWERY BALLROOM

Janelle Monae
I forgot what the name of the song was during these 4 images above, but the room went absolutely silent. It was amazing. She was brilliant.
Chester French
Scouting For Girls
Air Traffic, Scouting For Girls, I get them both mixed up. Their songs are so similar in style. This is Scouting for Girls.
Delays
Hooray for Delays! It’s been ages!
And youthought I was going to say “it’s been a long time coming”. That would be too obvious.

Fanfarlo at Fat Baby
Pretty good stuff from the UK, Belgium, and Sweden. I don’t really know Arcade Fire stuff, so judge for yourself.
Vivian Girls at Bowery Ballroom
The guitarist and drummer harmonized well. I didn’t think the bassist did a very good job with the harmonies. She was a bit off key.
I thought they performed better this time than at the Seaport show.
So I didn’t get to see all the bands I wanted to see, and I didn’t post all the shows I shot, but these are some of my favorites. A couple of other bands I thought were really good: Marching Band from Sweden, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart…SHIT! I wish I posted up pics of them.
