Astoria Music Now! 2010 had it’s annual music festival at Astoria Park in Astoria, Queens, New York. The day long event included 3 stages and 29 bands from the area. It wasn’t just about Astorians, bands from all around the area performed on this beautiful day.
Though the weather called for the mercury to rise to 90 degrees, the location by the Hudson River was ideal as it literally only felt about 80 degrees at the most. Unfortunately, I broke out from some tree pollen or sweat, so I had to cut my day long event into a half day. After 18 hours of sleep, yes, 18 hours, I’ve mustered up the strength to work on some images and here they are.

DJ collective DJ Lo-Fi (ADG) provided some music to dance to if you didn’t want to watch a band, but just chill out and dance.

So, if you were a bit concerned about the weather, fret not, it is/was by the river. All you had to do was bring a blanket and snag a shaded area and you were home fries. Next year, I will be wearing long sleeves and pants…weather permitting.
