Some shots from last night’s Seaport Music Festival. Opening up for the evening was the legendary Bernard Fevre of Black Devil Disco Club. The gracious Frenchman had the audience already groovin’ and dancing before the headliner’s appearance. Although there were a few kids sitting on the ground during his disco-centric, computer and keyboard-generated music performance, I’m sure they were just resting up for Yacht.
I want his shirt…and Mac.

Headliners YACHT, from Oregon, performed with back up from The Straight Gaze.
“The ugs are on stage” Jona Bechtolt modestly stated as he looked out into a crowd of good looking people. The charismatic creator of YACHT headlined last night’s show with partner in crime Claire L. Evans, who’s stellar performance made for some of my most favorite images of the summer. I absolutely loved their performance! Think Scissor Sisters. The dramatic show was filled with angular movements, striking poses, sexy undulations, and equipment grinding. That mic stand may need to be Purell’d.
This was actually a long shot, that I tightened up on. I only really wanted to include Jona’s expression and Claire’s grip on his shirt. It works better this way than the full length version. Movie poster time!
