So the Mercury Lounge show for Smith Westerns was sold out, boo!!! But what luck, turns out they played a free gig at Saks Fifth Avenue. Don’t ask me why they played Saks Fifth Avenue, I was just glad to get to see them, and for free. Champagne flowed freely as well as hors d’oeuvres, the stage was low, the lights were bright, and the ceiling was low and white. It was perfect. Perfect for bouncing with my Canon 270EX Speedlight. I HEART this flash. It’s portable, and tilts straight up for bouncing. Adorama also sells a diffuser just for this tiny flash. LOVE IT!
