Some images below from last night’s show at Pianos on the Lower East Side, NYC. Apparently there were alot of bloggers there checking out The Lines from the UK. They definitely reminded me of 90s British music, as well as some Kasabian.
Following The Lines were Spains’s Polock. Obvious influences were The Strokes, but also a little bit of Ash (circa Nu-Clear Sounds). They were great, with some wonderful melodies. The lighting was pretty difficult, but also very dramatic, so it was a challenge worth taking.
