When I was younger, people use to dress up at shows. I remember getting my wedge on, my charity shop skirt and blouse, and that vintage hand bag that I got at a not-so-vintage price. Hooray for the Salvation Army! Nowadays, people don’t seem to make that effort. Well, sometimes you get lucky.
Last night, Rolling Stone, Starbucks, and Garnier Fructis held a private event at the Highline Ballroom over on the west side of Manhattan with show headliners Cali-boys Cold War Kids, along with Brooklyn’s Beast Make Bomb, and We Barbarians. The show was great and this time I got a few really great outfits. Dresses!!!!
What a cute dress, so flowy and delicate.
Love how she mixed the feminine, delicateness of the dress with a funky black vest.
Great dress and loving the yellow sweater. Check out the hot heels too!
Such a cute dress and love the elastic belt.
There was one lady in a long, white satiny dress and a black jacket. I so wish I had gotten her photo. It was an amazing outfit.
I’m hopeful that people will start making the effort to dress up again at shows. Skinny jeans be gone!
