Some shots of Red Rock Canyon in Nevada. The canyons were beautiful and the views, stunning. It was a bit cold, and the winds didn’t help, but still worth the visit.
The canyons are really awesome to climb, but please don’t go around in wedge heels, you just look ridiculous, and you can’t climb the canyons that way. A decent pair of sneakers (or hiking boots would be ideal) will get you around easily. Just be cautious when walking on the gravel, it can get slippery once in a while. And if you don’t mind bruises from climbing the huge rocks, you’ll do fine.
You’re literally driving in a circle once you enter the Fee Station and get your visitor guide and hiking map. There are key spots where you’ll park to take photos, climb the canyons, etc.
If you get the chance to go, make sure you check out the hours of operation, since it closes early in the winter, at 5pm.
