Due to rain, the usual Seaport Music Festival at Pier 17 has been moved down the block to the Beekman Beer Garden. The annual weekly summer music festival is, for some, their unofficial beginning of summer.
Tonight’s show is Memphis-themed with garage punks Oblivians and Ex-Cult. Both bands should have you up and dancing, forgetting about the rain that you’ll be shielded by. Thank goodness for covered outdoor venues!
If you have trouble finding the beer garden, just go through the mall and head straight to the exit at the opposite end of the mall.
While there, you can get a picture perfect shot of the Brooklyn Bridge, as well.

And next week should be even better with Scottish trio, PAWS. Please rainmaker, take a day off that day!
