Though I did not partake in the poutin, I did partake in the performance. I was only able to stay for a few sets though.
Energy, wit, talent…Lisa LeBlanc. The banjo-wielding songstress and crew performed with the enthusiasm you wished all bands would. Fast-paced and fun in pair of cowboy boots, is the only way to describe LeBlanc’s performance. I loved the exaggeraated Frenglish accent, a bit self-deprecating, but hilarious as well.
Duo Solids were loud and louder. I’m not sure if I was into the music, but the drumming was hypnotic to watch. When the guys did harmonize, it was pretty beautiful. Yes, beautiful!
Opening up for the night was Heat.
