My latest project of using two colors and white to paint a portrait. This time I used complementary colors blue and orange – Ultramarine Blue and Cadmium Orange. I also used white to lighten.

Not sure how her lips ended up being a bit curled, but the smile makes her look playful.
I think my favorite part of this painting is the eyes.
It was also good practice on the dreaded hand. I’m getting used to the hand though.
Next two tone practice will be yellow and purple, and this time no white.
