Here’s a recent portrait just completed of Nicole Kidman at the 18th Annual American Cinematheque Award Honoring Nicole Kidman in Beverly Hills, California in 2003.
When I did my glazed piece of Bradley Cooper, I wasn’t sure if I liked the painting. But a month later, I noticed the colors getting more saturated and actually did like the look of it. So I decided to give glazing another try. This time I chose a half length image instead of a head shot.
I also took some liberty by exaggerating the curve of the hip/waist area. In the original image, she was too straight. I think this gives the image a more interesting composition. Enjoy!
