Newly completed portrait of singer/guitarist Mark Gardener of Oxford, England’s Ride.
I was looking through my archive of photos to draw and this one really stood out. I really wanted to see if I could do something with a backlit image, yet not quite a silhouette.
The reference photo was from their Terminal 5 concert in 2015. That was a great show, but then again, he always puts on a great show, even when Mark was doing his solo work!
Just glad the band is back together again!
