Some images from last night’s final show at RiverRocks concert series on Pier 54, NYC. What better way to end it than with the sonically intense, yet beautiful sounds of Deerhunter?

An awkward moment at the beginning of the set as bassist Josh Fauver was nowhere to be found. Sometimes minutes seem like hours.
With the Empire State Building in the background.
The rain was minimal for 3/4 of the set, then started to drizzle. The band still played, and the Photographers still kept shooting. Where’s that plastic bag when you need it?
Crowd gives it up…
Tonight will be the Seaport Music Festival’s final show at Pier 17 with The Wedding Present and Savoir Adore. Summer is ending too soon!!!
