New York City returns to a frenzy this coming week with the Fall 2013 collections at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center. Many amazing designs will be on display, and not just on the catwalks. From the fashionable and eccentric kids who arrive just to have their photos taken by fashion bloggers, to the celebrities who graciously stop for a few seconds for the paparazzis, NYC will be in a buzz.
The only thing that might kill the flashes, is the extremely frigid temps that may cause most people who walk that corridor leading to the steps of the Mercedes-Benz building to bundle up in their oversized, warm but boring black coats. But this is fashion, so the phrase ‘suffering for fashion’ will most likely win out. Fashion over comfort shall prevail.
