The final show of the day, Venexiana, by Kati Stern, was beautiful and loud. Call me an old fart, but my ears are still ringing. That doesn’t mean I didn’t like the show. On the contrary, Venexiana was a great show to end the evening. More eveningwear was showcased tonight, and the Autumn 2013 was abundant in pieces as well as in form.
With the high volume booming from the speakers, models walked out in gowns full of voluminous fabrics and edgy cuts. The backs on some of these dresses were absolutely breathtaking. Bacne be warned!
From lace, to silk chiffon, to velvet, satin, wool, it seemed like there was definitely something for every taste. My jaw dropped when I saw the seafoam satin strapless evening gown with crystal detail (above). How do you spell ‘humina humina humina’?
Anyways, this is a designer for awards season. Celebs should be looking to Venexiana for their red carpet full lengths…NOW.
