Glasgow, Scotland’s PAWS played their third night in New York at Brooklyn’s Live @ Shea Stadium BK last night. Did you get the memo? It was a really great show, this time with kids dancing a la Beavis and Butthead.
The band’s strengths lie in their use of guitar melodies and a strong bassline. They’re subject matters and lyrics are at times are quite sad, making it hard to want to listen to the words, when it may bring you down, while dancing to extremely catchy chords.
Anyways, here’s me getting all “artistic” with my Photoshop. I brought along a tiny point and shoot this time, and made use of the various functions. I think I’ll stick to the slow shutter speed. And then it was off to Photoshoplandia, to see if I could create some painterly-like images. I think my favorite ones are of Matt the bassist.
