Pixie-like with an uncanny resemblance to LiLo, South London’s FEMME (Laura Bettinson) performed an early show at the Mercury Lounge Wednesday evening.
Decked out in a rather unusual outfit of cut-outs, lace, and extreme embellishments, Bettison sashayed across the stage while a DJ on deck manned the controls of the music overhead.
FEMME’s music is fun as well as her performance. She definitely knows how to perform for the camera prancing around the stage with sweeping hand gestures and dramatic lighting from a wall projection for added effect.
