My latest portrait just completed of Bradley Cooper at the 2004 premiere of Revolution Studios’ and Columbia Pictures’ “13 Going On 30” in Westwood, California.
The image was glazed using stand oil. Turns out, I don’t like fully glazing portraits. The painting is still wet and it’s been a few days. I realize, the glaze would probably work better for a still life of flowers or a scenic photo. This piece reminds me of a hand colored black and white photograph. That’s fine, if that was the look I was trying to achieve, but it wasn’t.
I like the painting, but not quite satisfied with the colors. Still learning…
